Zensurance is a Canadian insurtech brokerage focused on providing insurance solutions for small businesses. The company aims to simplify the insurance buying process for small and medium-sized enterprises by offering an online platform that allows businesses to compare and purchase insurance policies tailored to their specific needs.

 
 
 
 

My Role:

  • Develop comprehensive instructional materials and programs by collaborating closely with subject matter experts, applying instructional design methodologies, and creating engaging e-learning modules, instructor-led training materials, and videos.

  • Manage and update diverse learning resources, ensuring alignment with industry standards and best practices, while integrating innovative learning technologies and tools to enhance content delivery.

  • Demonstrate strong communication skills by effectively liaising with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to gather feedback, address concerns, and incorporate diverse perspectives into the instructional design process.

  • Compile and analyze data pertaining to the effectiveness of learning programs, providing actionable insights and recommendations to the senior leadership team for informed decision-making.

  • Proactively manage multiple projects, ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality learning solutions within established timelines and budget constraints, while continuously evaluating and revising programs based on feedback and performance data.

  • Provide training and support to instructors and facilitators to ensure the effective implementation and consistent delivery of learning content.

I have been providing Instructional Design expertise to the Learning & Development Team since 2021.

Below are the main learning projects I spearheaded:

  • Insurance Product Training Program to enhance sales performance, minimize broker errors and omissions, and bolster confidence in product selling, resulting in improved overall business outcomes using a flipped classroom approach.

  • Commercial Broker Training Program to enable novice employees to obtain necessary licensing, equipping them with effective sales tools, and facilitating their understanding of company processes through immersive simulated and experiential learning

  • Broker Systems Training Program & Facilitation for new broker employees' adept navigation through our systems using experiential walkthroughs, instructional videos, and engaging activities

Additional projects I contributed to:

  • Leadership Development Program aimed to enhance the skills of new leaders, fostering team cohesion, improving team relationships, boosting productivity, and facilitating the achievement of superior outcomes using a flipped classroom approach.

  • Employee Onboarding to ensure seamless remote integration into the company, facilitate a clear understanding of company culture and expectations, and empower new hires to contribute effectively from day one. Created several videos and employee journey analyses.
